What does it cost to work with Bearded Bytes?
Most clients land somewhere between $75 and $200 per user per month for fully managed IT, depending on what's included (cybersecurity, backup, after-hours support, etc.). Smaller projects — Wi-Fi installs, camera systems, one-off cybersecurity audits — are quoted flat-rate. You'll always get a written proposal before any work starts.
How fast do you respond when something breaks?
Managed clients get a same-business-day response — typically under an hour during business hours, and 24/7 emergency support for outage-level issues. Project clients are scheduled in advance so there's rarely an emergency.
Do you support businesses outside Plant City?
Yes — we work on-site across Hillsborough and Polk counties (Tampa, Lakeland, Brandon, Winter Haven, and everywhere along I-4) and remotely anywhere in the U.S. On-site service inside the I-4 corridor between Tampa and Lakeland is typically same-day.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. Managed IT agreements are month-to-month. The idea is that you stay because the work is good, not because you're locked in.
Can you work with our existing IT vendor?
Often, yes. If you already have a software vendor, line-of-business app, or a former IT person you trust, we coordinate with them rather than replace them. The goal is reliable tech, not a turf war.
Do you work with home users or just businesses?
Both. Most of our work is small-business IT, but we also support high-end residential clients with whole-home Wi-Fi, security cameras, and family cybersecurity. Pricing for residential is hourly or flat-rate per project.
