Veterinary clinic: Wi-Fi, security cameras and lobby digital signage
The challenge
The clinic had Wi-Fi dead zones in parts of the building, which matters in a practice where staff move between exam rooms, treatment areas and the front desk with devices all day. They also wanted security cameras and a digital sign in the lobby for client-facing information.
What I did
- Planned access point placement around the clinic’s layout and the areas where coverage was dropping
- Installed Ubiquiti UniFi access points to eliminate the dead zones
- Installed a security camera system with phone viewing
- Set up digital signage in the lobby for client-facing information
The result
One project covered three separate needs, so the clinic got reliable Wi-Fi throughout the building, camera coverage and a working lobby display from a single local vendor instead of juggling three.
