Warehouse Cat6 network rewire for a kitchen and bath supplier
The challenge
The warehouse network had outgrown its original cabling. Warehouses are tough environments for networks — long runs, high ceilings, forklifts and dust — and unreliable wiring shows up as dropped connections at the computers, printers and devices the business depends on.
What I did
- Planned new cable runs suited to the warehouse layout
- Installed new Cat6 cabling throughout the space
- Terminated and organized the runs so future changes are straightforward
The result
The business now has a clean, standards-based wired network to build on, instead of patching around aging cabling.
